With influences spanning UK garage, hip-hop, dancehall and drum & bass, Murder He Wrote is one of the most distinctive producers in the UK’s fertile bass scene.

His original productions have seen him make his home at the Roska Kicks & Snares label, whilst his prolific remix schedule has taken in official reworks of the likes of Konshens, Stanton Warriors and DJ Madd across a range of labels including Black Butter, Universal and Skrillex’s NEST imprint.

2017/18 saw debut performances in China, Australia and Canada whilst maintaining a healthy schedule across the UK and Europe, taking in performances at legendary clubs including Fabric and Ministry Of Sound and festivals such as Glastonbury and Boomtown Fair. Regular appearances on the airwaves included guest mixes and shows on Rinse FM, NTS and BBC Radio 1 (where Toddla T named him as one of his Freshmen 2017 alongside AJ Tracey and Nadia Rose).

Building on this the latter half of 2018 marked the birth of MHW’s own imprint – Rhythm Athletic, with the debut release topping the Beatport and Juno Download charts and gaining support from the likes of Flava D, Redlight and Gilles Peterson.

Looking ahead to 2019, MHW shows no sign of slowing down with a new EP and collaborations with New York Transit Authority, Chrystal and MC Fox all due to enter the club consciousness imminently, alongside a second Australian tour and debut USA & Canada festival performances.
